Change Agents
Youth Leader Training Conference
9-12 August 2007 at YFC Cyara Conference Centre (Magaliesberg)
Warmest greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus. My name is Bert and I am privileged to serve on the Change Agents leadership team. This email is to tell you about the 4th annual Change Agents conference, which is being held at YFC Cyara on 9 - 12 August 2007.
If you are involved in Christian leadership, you are already aware of the challenges we face in reaching and discipling emerging generations. Developed by a cross-section of experienced leaders with a passion for young people (please see the list below), Change Agents seeks to help every local church and ministry effectively engage emerging generations with the gospel of Jesus Christ, transforming communities by transforming young lives. Featuring challenging teaching sessions, practical workshops and creative learning opportunities, Change Agents will help equip leaders to develop contextually relevant communities of authentic disciples who impact others through incarnational, holistic ministry - Jesus style! Speakers and facilitators include Edgar Ramsami, Aloysias Maimane, Olefile Masangane, Roger Saner, Bianca Pohlmann, Brian Helsby, Bert Watson and others. Worship will be led by Khanyisa, one of the best transcultural worship bands in South Africa. Held at the beautiful YFC Cyara Conference Centre, Change Agents is the ideal place to connect with God, interact with other leaders and develop meaningful networks.
Organised by leaders for leaders, Change Agents features:
- Excellent input from top communicators
- Training that is relevant, contextual, and participative
- Unique multimedia learning experiences
- Interactive workshops and working groups
- Transcultural worship led by Khanyisa
- Streams for youth, young adult, and children’s leaders
- Ample time to connect with God, other leaders and your team
- Free leadership and ministry resources
Because we are committed to the emerging generation of leaders, great effort is made to ensure a truly representative attendance and to help those who need it most. Last year over two thirds of the delegates at the Gauteng event were from disadvantaged communities.
